Why does my grandmother watch Columbian soap operas instead of the American "The Orange County"?!

The Orange County is one of the best TV Shows ever. Why would I say such a thing? Well there are quite a lot reasons for that.

On the first place, it could be watched by any single person over 12 years old. Even my grandmother would find it very interesting and wouldn't say as always: "What is this terrible movie that you're watching again?" Actually the show is not very different from a soap opera... there is a poor boy, who tries to enter the American highlife, there are lots of love dramas, people who try to ruin everything (of course in this show even the bad guys have some moral and do even good things sometimes), people entering the rooms in the worst moment possible... The different thing about The O.C. is that it is interesting and real.

I believe that this is a show, which perfectly reveals the life of rich American people. It convinces us, that being rich does not always mean being happy. The O.C. shows that rich people have the same problems as normal people do, and sometimes even worse.

In my opinion The O.C. could be a real life story and I really hope that the producers won't let themselves being led only by the ratings, but would continue to concentrate on the reality and the reality is that life is not always happy!

I really hope that even my grandmother would realize this soon and I wouldn't have to listen to her soap operas all day long, but we could watch The O.C. together.
